Hop Store Cottage: The Devotee’s Den
If your dog is happiest when life is steady and easy-going, Hop Store is the cottage for them. Its private terrace is fully enclosed, so they can potter safely while you take things slow. Indoors, the open-plan layout means they’ll never lose sight of you – reassuring for velcro pups who like to shadow your every move. Evenings are all about winding down: there’s plenty of room for a dog bed or two by the gas log-burner while you curl up on the sofa.
Best for: dogs who crave closeness and quiet, and humans who want the same.
Welsh Cottage: The Dawdler’s Nook
Some dogs love to dash, others love to dawdle. Welsh Cottage is made for the dreamers – the ones who like a slow wander in the garden, a sniff here, a pause there, before curling up in a warm spot indoors. With armchairs by the gas log-burner, a barn door opening to quiet country views, and a private patio that leads into the shared garden, this 1-bed cottage is a snug little spot for slow days and easy evenings.
Best for: gentle souls (two and four-legged) who like life unhurried.
Hop Pickers Cottage: The Social Butterfly’s Spot
Hop Pickers Cottage is all about company. Sleeping up to four, it’s a natural fit for families, old friends or two couples coming together for a weekend of dog walks, good food and late-night laughter. The open-plan lounge means nobody gets left out (not even the dog), with a gas log-burner to gather round as the evening winds down. Outside, the garden is just the right size for a sniff, a stretch, or a bit of sunbathing between games of fetch.
Best for: outgoing dogs who like to be where the action is – and humans who do too.
Long Barn: The Explorer’s Playground
If your dog loves space to roam, Long Barn will be their paradise. Our largest cottage, has a fully enclosed rear garden that’s perfect for nose-to-the-ground adventures, with plenty of corners to sniff and paths to pace. Out front, a sun-soaked patio and enclosed terrace give you a spot to relax while your dog snoozes in the warmth. Inside, there’s room for everyone – families, groups, and even a couple of big dogs who like to sprawl. And for the humans, a shared yoga platform outside makes it easy to stretch out with your pup (downward dog optional).
Best for: adventurous dogs who thrive on space, and humans who want room to breathe too.

- Cam & Sarah keep coming back – eleven stays in two years, often with their Black Lab, Frank, in tow. He’s tried every cottage but these days he’s happiest at Hop Store, padding in and out of the new enclosed terrace.
