Big news from White House Cottages — we’ve featured in a Mini Escapes segment on BBC One’s Escape to the Country!
Jules Hudson and the crew spent a day with us in Aylton, sampling local produce, taking a spin on our tandem, and hearing the story of why we swapped city life for the Herefordshire countryside — and never looked back.
A fun bit of common ground: Jules is a fellow Visit Herefordshire Tourism Ambassador, and he and his partner run their own shepherd’s hut retreat in the Wye Valley — so we had plenty to chat about. We even shared a glass of award-winning fizz from our neighbours at 1276 Vineyard, just one of the local adventures on offer during your stay with us.
During our almost four years here, we’ve hosted many guests using us as a base to look for their own Escape To The Country, and his books now features in every cottage.
